Dr. Ademola Ojo
Born in Ootunja Ekiti, Ikole Local Government, Ekiti State in 1972 to a royal family of Olootunja of Ootunja Ekiti.
A second in a family of six. Fathered and mothered respectively by Prince Samuel Oluwande Ojo and Mrs Oyeyemi Alice Ojo (nee Olowolagba). His parents as his role model, shaped his thinking and thought him the value of ethics, moral, societal and human interconnectedness. Always instilling in him the determination to consistently maintain a top-ranking position throughout his education.
Elementary education were in St Peters Anglican Primary school, Isaba Ekiti and Egbe-Oba High School ikole. Graduated in 1987 and proceeded to Christ School Ado Ekiti for his A level education, 1988-1989. He had a 2-year stint at the then Ondo State university, Ado Ekiti now EKSU in 1991/1992 studying Biochemistry.
His penchant for medical profession took him to University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State where he obtained excellently his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, MBBS in 2000.
His earlier professional apprentices were in Ekiti State Specialist hospital, now Teaching hospital and Federal Medical center, Owo in 2000/2001. He had his NYSC at Federal road Safety, Kaduna Sector Command as a Medical Officer from 2002 till 2024.
The quest for specialty training kindled his interest to pursue oversee trip that landed him in South Africa. Meanwhile, he passed both National and West African primary Examination in Psychiatry in 2003 before departing the country, Nigeria. Having traversed other countries like, USA, Australia and UK, he chose to have his specialty in South Africa where he became a Specialist/Consultant Obstetrics and Gynaecologist in Private practice till date.

Political Journey and Experience
As a student, he has always been conscious of human interactions, leadership and positions, both career and elective as it shapes the outcome of the society.
On this note, the curiosity to be part and to have a contribution in shaping the society is enormous and very dear to him. At any given opportunity, he makes himself available to lead as reflected in his early day as a health prefect in primary school and captain of his class in secondary school. He also headed a club as a president, comprising of his age mate named WHITE CLUB in 1996.
He was also the president of Christ School old student Association in University of Benin, Edo State in 1997
He has participated in making contributions that directly and indirectly shaped the political spectrum of his ward, local government and constituency. Sponsored several meetings and making huge financial contributions to the party. The extent and success of this gesture has never been hindered by his inability to be there in person.
This will change in no distant time as he is preparing to be home soon and participate fully. He had the opportunity to meet with APC leaders in Ikole Local Government on 23rd of December 2025 and listened to their perennial problems and offer assistance.
Achievements and Impact
Dr Ademola Ojo has not held any political position so far but has contributed immensely to influence the outcome of those in positions and supported them to make good impact and contributions to the society.
In doing so, he has the technical know-how and the wherewithal to effect meaningful change if given any position of authority.
